Sheikhupura: The blocked sewerage system on Gujranwala Road is causing commuting problems for pedestrians and motorists, reported a news source. The sewer water from the main hole has flooded the entire area.
When the deluge hit, shop owners started complaining of lessening business activity, as shoppers began to avoid the area. Registering their concerns, traders and business community members approached Sheikhupura deputy commissioner a week ago. So far, their complaints have not been addressed.
For pedestrians, travelling on the road has been made very difficult. For motorists, the situation is no better. As per reports, the members of Sheikhupura Municipal Committee have also been informed of the situation.
