Islamabad: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Reza Baqir called on Prime Minister and informed about the upward trend in number of Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) following his visit, according to the news sources. During this visit, the PM also addressed Pakistani expatriates in Jeddah and acknowledged their continued support for economic development of the country.

The RDA is a financial solution for Pakistanis based out of the country to facilitate them in their plans to invest in the country. This improves the forex reserves of Pakistan as well as the economic development and economic stability of the country. PM is also confident about the rise in Roshan Digital Accounts and its impact on forex reserves.
While PM also applauded and acknowledged the contribution of Pakistani expatriates in Jeddah, at a separate occasion, PM also thanked Pakistanis residing in different parts of the world for using RDa through which deposits of over USD 1 billion have already been recorded. He also congratulated SBP for achieving such a big milestone in a very short period of time.
