This proposed launch event will follow the previous soft launch that had been performed by PM Khan on August 7.
During a meeting held on his visit to Lahore, the PM directed Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar to supervise the RRUD project on a daily basis and to ‘keep him in the loop’. He also directed the officials concerned to ensure that international standards were maintained in both the project’s construction, and the measures taken to protect the environment. He further stressed that this venture would not only help recharge Lahore’s aquifer and ensure drinkable water supply; but also provide a boost to the country’s construction sector.
