Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to unveil Uraan Pakistan — the country’s ambitious National Economic Transformation Plan (NETP) for 2024-2029 — on December 31. The initiative, described as a roadmap for sustained high growth, aims to address Pakistan’s pressing economic challenges and chart a path toward long-term prosperity.
According to the Ministry of Planning, Uraan Pakistan is grounded in the 5Es Framework: Export, E-Pakistan, Environment and Climate Change, Energy and Infrastructure, and Equity, Ethics, and Empowerment. These pillars will serve as the foundation for the nation’s 13th five-year economic plan.
