Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a special package aimed at facilitating overseas Pakistanis, according to news sources on August 10.
Under this package, new incentives will be introduced for non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) to resolve issues faced by them. The details of package for overseas Pakistanis are as follows:
Hotlines will be set up under the Chief Secretaries in provinces and the Chief Commissioner in Islamabad
Special courts will be formed in Islamabad and all provinces to speed up property issue resolutions
For housing schemes:
10% quota for Overseas Pakistanis in public-sector housing schemes
An extra 5% discount for payments via foreign currency and banking
