Islamabad: Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Chairman Senator Faisal Javed on Tuesday (August 24) said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will inaugurate housing scheme for overseas Pakistanis on Friday, news sources reported. The senator revealed this information in a tweet from his Twitter account and stated that the housing Scheme will be launched in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan and the Ministry of Finance. According to the details, PM Imran is set to speak at a ceremony marking the Roshan Digital Account surpassing the USD 2 billion threshold in 11 months.

He praised the expatriate Pakistanis for their important contribution to the achievement of the Roshan Digital Account initiative. He further stated that the housing scheme will assist overseas Pakistanis with their real estate investment and mortgage finance needs in Pakistan.
