Islamabad: During a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Monday, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan ordered all provincial governors to formulate business plans for their respective governor houses, a news source reported.

As per officials, the governors were given a one month time frame to come up with concrete ideas. They said that the PM wanted to make use of these public properties to increase the government’s overall revenue.
The meeting also discussed the possible ways of reducing the running expenses of governor houses and other public properties to decrease the burden on the government.

PM Khan gave these directives to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman, Balochistan Governor Justice (R) Amanullah Yasinzai, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Naeem-ul-Haq was also present at the occasion.
