Riyadh: The Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday (October 25) invited the Saudi entrepreneurs and businesses to invest in Pakistan’s construction and housing industry, news sources reported.

PM Khan urged the business community of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to invest in potentially profitable projects like Ravi City and Central Business District in Lahore. He was addressing the Saudi-Pak Investment Forum, organized in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Investment. Speaking on the occasion, the premier said that there are ripe opportunities for investors to come to Pakistan and invest in growing construction businesses that will benefit both countries and provide employment opportunities to many.

Furthermore, he said that there are 300,000 acres of virgin land – adjacent to the Indus River – set aside for investment, where Saudi corporations can participate in agricultural and food security ventures. He also advised Saudi investors to maximise their profits by making full use of Pakistan’s strategic location and proximity to the world’s two largest markets, Central Asia Republics (CARs) and China and India.
