Providing details on the portal, the PM said that the framework would help in highlighting the exact data for each district; revealing it to be a first-of-a-kind initiative in Pakistan that would facilitate the analyses of poverty estimates and other development/policy indicators of each district.
According to details, the portal, developed in collaboration with the World Bank, currently provides data for the period between 2004 and 2018. It can be accessed from the ‘Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division’ section on the Ehsaas programme’s website.

The portal will also allow users to access interactive maps to compare poverty and other indicators between two districts. The users will be able to customise, download, and print these maps.
The data for the portal was provided by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics as a part of its Social and Living Standards Measurement Surveys as well as the Multiple Indicators Cluster Surveys.
