Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday (October 31) said Pakistan is ready to share its experience and manpower with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for its Vision 2030. He said that the vision shares significant similarities with Pakistan’s Naya Pakistan and it provides an opportunity for cooperation.

The premier said that Pakistan can share expertise in infrastructure development, information technology (IT), agriculture, and other sectors. He stated that the Saudi Vision 2030 and Naya Pakistan’s ambitious initiative have so many parallels that they can actualize each other with shared skills and human resources. Both programmes are concerned with economic opportunity, diversity, internal growth, modernization and development, as well as trade links and connectivity. During his speech to the inaugural Saudi-Pakistan Investment Forum, the prime minister asked Saudi entrepreneurs and firms to engage in the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP).

PM Khan also emphasised KSA’s budgetary support and thanked them for their critical assistance in controlling the Current Account Deficit (CAD). He stated that the two nations have a familial relationship that extends beyond economic areas and into emotional and religious realms. He also stated that the Pakistani government is playing a part in climate control and management, as the Saudis have demonstrated their desire to address the issue through green initiatives
