Lahore: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is expected to lay the foundation stone of the 4,000 housing units under the first phase of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City Naya Pakistan Apartments on March 12 – according to a news source published on March 4.

Reportedly, the PM’s office has confirmed the premier’s arrival in Lahore to both LDA and the Punjab government. LDA Vice Chairman S M Imran on Wednesday said in a press release that Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed willingness to lay the project’s foundation stone. The preparations for the ceremony have been started at the Mauza Halloki, near Ring Road.

Under these preparations, a road leading to the avenue and two helipads will be constructed for the groundbreaking ceremony. After laying the foundation stone, the process to receive applications for the allotment of these apartments will start.
