The project, according to Sheikh, would also include the construction of a five-star hotel to lodge international and national players and dignitaries. The CDA and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will work together to complete the project. The project, according to the CDA, will be developed at the foot of the Margalla Hills. The location was chosen due to its attractive scenery and proximity to the already built two small stadiums of Marghzar and Shalimar Grounds. Furthermore, the project will be completed as soon as possible so that it may be ready for the Champion Trophy tournament in 2025.
