Nowshera: During his official visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Prime Minister Imran Khan took the time to inaugurate the Jalozai Housing Scheme in Nowshera, according to news sources. The aforementioned housing scheme is an affordable project being developed for the area’s residents.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, PM Khan highlighted that this was the first time that any government in the country’s history had undertaken initiatives for the development of people from lower-income backgrounds. He revealed that the incumbent government had initiated the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme across the country so that more people could build a roof over their heads. He added that with a subsidy of PKR 300,000 and an easy loan on 3%, people could now easily build a home for themselves.

During the visit, the PM additionally inaugurated the Peshawar-Dara Adamkhel road restoration and up-gradation project, and laid the foundation stone for the rehabilitation and expansion of the Chitral-Boni-Mastooj-Shindour road project. He also attended the launching ceremony of the OPD block at the Khyber Teaching Hospital as a special guest.
