Islamabad: A delegation of French investors has expressed willingness to invest in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy; such as energy, agriculture and manufacturing – a news source reported.

Representatives of the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF) met Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday. MEDEF is reportedly the largest association of French entrepreneurs with a member count of 750,000 people.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed investment opportunities specifically related to the energy, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and food sectors.
The prime minister appreciated the members’ desire to avail economic opportunities in the country. He said that foreign businessmen could benefit from making investments in tourism, industry and special economic zones (SEZs).

He also highlighted various measures taken by the government to reduce the costs of doing business, as well as improving the ease of doing business in the country.
