Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has invited Japanese companies and businessmen to invest in Pakistan’s tourism, information technology (IT), agriculture, and human resource development sectors – a news source reported.

He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with Ambassador of Japan Kuninori Matsuda at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in Islamabad on Thursday.
He lauded Japan’s role as a close development partner of Pakistan, and said that his country would benefit greatly from Japanese investments in human resource development, information technology, tourism and agriculture.
The PM stated that his government is committed to overcoming the current economic challenges by introducing people-centric, development-focused, and investor-friendly policies.

In response, the Japanese envoy assured PM Khan of Tokyo’s full support to facilitate and promote trade ties with Pakistan. He also expressed satisfaction over the warm relations between the two countries.
