During the PM’s visit, LDA Vice Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Imran and Director General (DG) Muhammad Usman Muazzam briefed him regarding the economic and employment potential of the new industrial zones.
The LDA senior officials told PM Khan that a large number of industries were situated outside the industrial clusters. They added that the mushroom development of the industrial sector had created civic issues, as well as overburdened the urban infrastructure.
