Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will fly to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for a two-day conference dubbed ‘Davos in the desert’ to highlight investment opportunities in Pakistan, news sources reported on October 24.

As per officials, PM Shehbaz will be a keynote speaker at the conference and encourage foreign corporations and enterprises to explore different business prospects in Pakistan. According to reports, the PM will also meet with officials from several nations and CEOs of firms as part of the investment discussion on the sidelines of the Davos in desert conference. This year’s edition will take place from Tuesday to Thursday and will be attended by 6,000 delegates from across the world, including leading corporate executives from global corporations, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and young leaders.

The subject of this year’s Devos in the Desert investment conference is ‘Investing in Humanity: Enabling a New Global Order.’ The conference has lately been a regular component of Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification away from oil under Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Suleman, also known as MBS.
