Sialkot: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday inaugurated the new airline ‘Air Sial’ in Sialkot and assured the businessmen in attendance of the government’s support for the local industrial and export sectors, according to news sources.

Air Sial is a private airline which ran its first flight Airbus A320 last month when it landed at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi from the United States (US).
The prime minister announced the government’s intent to remove all hurdles impeding the growth of business activity in the city in addition to revealing the steps being taken to promote small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He opined that industrialization and boost in exports will result in wealth creation and enhancement of foreign exchange reserves.
Moreover, the PM expressed confidence that Sialkot, Gujrat and Gujranwala will become a key export centres in the country. He said that the government was focusing on the development of Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

Reportedly, Air Sial is third private airline – which ran its first flight ‘via Airbus A320 landed at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi from the United States last month’.
Earlier, on November 14, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar also approved the Sialkot Ring Road that will be operated through public-private partnership mode and will facilitate the industries.
