Mansehra: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has approved the construction of the Mansehra-Balakot Expressway in order to promote tourism in Kaghan Valley, according to news published on September 17.

As per the details, the Mansehra-Balakot Expressway will help reduce the travel time between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). Also, the expressway will provide a hassle-free passage for commuters in the Hazara region. It was mentioned that the federal government has directed the relevant authorities to start the construction work on the said expressway.

Moreover, the news sources reported that the federal government has already announced mega development projects for the Hazara division. It was highlighted that PM Shehbaz has approved the construction of roads, an airport, natural gas projects, an electric supply company and grid stations for the division.
