Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has extended his appreciation to the Recep Tayyip Erdogen Hospital Trust for facilitating the shelter homes in Pakistan, a news source reported. As per the publication, the PM lauded the trust’s services for providing food and other facilities to the underprivileged residents of the shelter homes.

PM Khan opined that it was appreciable that philanthropists were playing their role in supporting the poor and ailing in the country. He expressed these remarks while taking to a delegation of the Recep Tayyip Erdogen Hospital Trust.
The delegation’s representatives briefed the PM about the services of the trust within the field of health and for the PM’s Shelter Programme in Lahore. They revealed that the trust was offering healthcare facilities in seven hospitals and two regional blood centres under a public-private partnership.
The representatives told PM Khan that the trust had provided free of cost treatment to tens of thousands of people in various hospitals. Meanwhile, they added, that they were providing food to shelters in Lahore on a daily basis.

PM Khan assured the delegation of the government’s support and cooperation. He advised that other sectors of the society should also follow the example of servicing humanity set by the trust.
