Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday (December 24) marked the approval of PKR 100 billion for the low-cost housing project titled ‘Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar’, according to the news sources. PM Khan, while addressing the ceremony, termed this achievement as a ‘big moment’ for Pakistan.

The premier added that Pakistan is now moving in the right direction. He stated that every Pakistani has a dream of building a house for their family. With this low-cost housing project, all the segments of society can build or purchase a house for their families.

Moreover, the PM disclosed that the ‘Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar’ initiative will uplift Pakistan’s economy as the construction of houses will increase. Sharing more details about the project, it was reported that the financing for the construction or purchase of houses were available in Islamic and conventional modes. Also, the financing options were offered at low rates for middle-income segments of the society.
