Lahore: The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has decided to set up an efficient and effective complaint management system to resolve the land issues quickly, according to a news story published in the leading newspaper on June 23.

PLRA Director General (DG) Muhammad Ali decided to introduce an active system for quick redress of complainants’ grievances and registration after noticing the slow and complex system. As per the details, modern techniques, the facility of registering complaints through WhatsApp and easy access are being launched.

Moreover, the director general has ordered the relevant officials to clear pending cases related to the issuance of fardaat and attestation of mutations in order to ensure transparency in the collection of government dues. He went on to say that any delay in the services or negligence will not be tolerated. In addition, the authority will provide all the services to the public at the centres.
