Faisalabad: The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has announced its decision to launch additional satellite land record centres in the province in a bid to reduce overcrowding at the existing centres and to offer its services at the doorstep, according to a news source published on November 10.

To this effect, the revenue authority has stated that 145 new satellite land record centres will be established. Under this initiative to facilitate the masses, the revenue department will also review the services being offered at the existing centres.

For the establishment of these new mobile centres, the land revenue act has been amended and it is announced that the count of 145 centres in Punjab will be delivered till November 15. The buildings for these centres will be offered by the divisional deputy commissioners. Reportedly, patwaris who have a know-how of computer will also be brought on-board.
