Lahore: The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has fulfilled all technical formalities related to the formation of a one-window system facility for farmers – a news source reported.
A meeting to this effect took place at the authority’ office on Thursday. Director General State Bank of Pakistan, as well as representatives of more than 30 commercial banks, were all present at the occasion.

It is pertinent to mention that the provincial government plans to introduce an agricultural credit scheme for farmers. The government will provide loans to individuals found genuinely associated with farming activities.
Specifically, loans will only be offered to individuals registered in the books of their respective land records authorities. This new system is aimed at tackling frauds in agriculture loan schemes.
