Lahore: In a bid to facilitate citizens during the escalation of the coronavirus situation, the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has doubled the number of mobile record centres, according to a news story published on May 3.

These mobile record centres will offer doorstep facilitates to the citizens in matters regarding property mutations and issuance of fard. Previously, 10 such centres were operating in the city that has now been extended to 20. This facility will enable citizens to avail themselves of services at their homes for a prescribed fee, without having to go to the Arazi Record Centres (ARCs).

As per the details shared by PLRA, the existing mobile ARCs have issued 7,562 fards and generated a revenue of RKR 5.1 million. Moreover, these centres have also executed 11,885 mutations, which yielded revenue of PKR 100 million for the national exchequer.
