Lahore: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Peshawar has commenced with the transfer of plot-possessions in its Blocks A and B, according to the developer’s official Facebook page. Based on our sources, the authority is also expected to announce the launch of its commercial plots soon — though DHA is yet to provide an official update on this matter.
As per the details communicated by the developer, plot owners have to apply for the possessions transfer process. Following the requirements fulfillment (including dues submission that is mandatory) by these individuals, the DHA would grant the possession letter. Further, applicants will have to share the building plan of the house they intend to construct on the plot. The said blueprint will then be verified against the rules prescribed by the authority.
To source additional details on the expected launch of commercial plots in DHA Peshawar Phase I, Zameen.com spoke with Apple Marketing CEO Taaj Muhammad Shah, who also serves as DHA Peshawar Realtors Association Secretary Information. Shah revealed that the DHA is expected to launch the said commercial plots within a month’s time frame. ‘DHA Peshawar may share the publication inviting applications for commercial plots by the end of December or start of January 2020,’ he added.
‘Real estate investors in Peshawar are anticipating the launch and it is widely believed that this launch will trigger investment activity in the city,’ said Shah. ‘This is likely to increase market activity for the Peshawar property market, which is currently experiencing lukewarm activity,’ he believes.
Commenting on the construction activity observed in the developed DHA Peshawar Block A and B, Shah said that ground breaking of over five houses is expected to take place in the start of next month. He added that the DHA would also invite tenders for the construction of sector mosques in its developed blocks ‘very soon’.
