Islamabad: Pakistan’s Minister for Planning and Development (P&D) Ahsan Iqbal announced that Gwadar is set to become an internationally acclaimed world-class port city with significant opportunities for its residents, as claimed in a reported article on June 3.

According to the details, Minister Iqbal highlighted Gwadar’s strategic importance and the substantial contributions from China through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), in a discussion with Xinhua on Monday.
Key developments include a modern hospital, a technical training institute, solar panels for the impoverished, and scholarships for Gwadar’s youth to study in Chinese universities.
