Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Amna Imran Khan said that all measures necessary for retrieving land from encroachers will be taken, according to a news report. This statement is in compliance with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for launching an immediate crackdown against land grabbers, illegal occupants, and encroachers on state properties.
The LDA has prepared a list of properties that need to be retrieved from illegal occupation, and has also formulated a comprehensive plan for carrying out the operation for achieving desired objectives. Local police and administration have also been engaged to provide assistance for the operation.
Khan has constituted five special teams for carrying out operations in different localities in LDA-controlled areas of the city.
