Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has requested a detailed plan to finish 107 inter-district road projects in 3 months, according to a news source on July 18.

The news source shared that the provincial government has plans to construct plastic roads across the province. Caretaker CM Naqvi has directed the authorities to ensure transparency and high-quality standards for road construction. He has instructed that all road construction contracts in Punjab be awarded through electronic procurement.

Additionally, Naqvi highlighted that there are currently 137 road rehabilitation projects, spanning a total of 2,600 kilometres, nearing completion in Punjab. Furthermore, during a meeting chaired by CM Naqvi, approval was given for the implementation of safe city projects in the districts of Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala.
The CM stressed the significance of these projects and directed the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures for their prompt implementation in the aforementioned cities.
