Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has deployed two officers at director-general’s level to resolve public complaints and ensure the implementation of ‘Islamabad the Beautiful’ initiative, according to a news source published on October 11.

These two officials will answer to the authority’s member engineering and finance to ensure that the plan is implemented without any procedural delays. CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had issued directives for the capital city’s restoration. He further stated that the civic agency intended to spend PKR 54 billion on the initiative.

While talking about the recent transference of four directorates of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) to the CDA, Mazhar Hussain, a spokesperson for the development authority, said that the residents of the capital city were facing several issues pertaining to the environment, roads, water, sanitation and other concern; adding that the officials deployed would resolve these complaints.
