Quetta: Balochistan Minister for Local Government Sardar Saleh Bhootani has said that several major development schemes have been approved for Hub amounting to more than PKR 700 million – a news source reported.
He added that some of these funds have been spent while the other projects are yet to begin. An additional PKR 150 million would be approved for the city’s sewage lines and streets, he said. Moreover, PKR 150 million would also be allocated for the Eastern Hub Bypass to ease traffic conditions in the city.
He gave credit to the Chief Minister Jam Kamal Alyani for this, and appreciated him for his special efforts to approve the Hub Eastern Bypass. The construction of the project will start in the near future.
The government has also approved a bus terminal for Hub, which would be built according to international standards to ensure quality transport facilities.
Moreover, an amount of PKR 110 million would be allocated in the current budget for the power sector of Hub.
