Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved a PC-1 of PKR 7.26 billion for the twin towers that are to be constructed on Jail Road, reports a news source. The decision was taken in a meeting of the governing body, which was chaired by Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Khwaja Ahmed Hassaan.
The governing body allowed tenders to be invited for starting civil work for the 28-storey high twin towers at a cost of PKR 3.81 billion.
The meeting was attended by Member Provincial Assembly Rao Muhammd Iftikhar, LDA Director General Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Chief Metropolitan Planner Waheed Ahmad Butt, LDA Additional Director Samia Saleem, Chief Town Planner Khalid Mahmood Sheikh, LDA Chief Engineer Asrar Saeed, Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Agency Chief Engineer Saif Ur Rehman, and representatives from the Housing Department, Municipal Corporation, Revenue Department, and the Commissioner Office for Lahore division.
