Rawalpindi: The Punjab government has allocated funds worth PKR 6 billion for acquiring land with respect to the Rawalpindi Ring road project – a news source reported.
So far, 13 firms have acquired tender documents from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) for consultancy purposes. If deemed necessary, the provincial government will allocate more funds for the project.

The consultancy contracts will be awarded at a cost of PKR 85 million. On a similar note, a sum of PKR 5 million has been allocated for developing a project management unit.
The consultancy report will comprise RRR’s complete lay-out plan, geo-matric and structural design, and a reset development plan. The consultancy firm will have to prepare the report within six months of receiving the work order.
