Mansehra: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has approved PKR 5 billion funds for the development of a new tourism zone in Torghar district, according to news published on August 8.

District Development Advisory Committee Chairman Laiq Mohammad Khan, speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Mansari-Mudari Road, mentioned that the government plans to develop the Bartoni area of Torghar district, which will boost tourism in the region. As per the details, the project will include roads, rest houses, and other infrastructure.

Moreover, the MPA stated funds for the construction of schools and health facilities in far-off areas. He also mentioned that it is the first time since it was given the status of the settled district that funds were allocated for the construction of roads and schools.
