Karak: The authority concerned has released funds worth PKR 50 million for the Karak Road project, a news source reported. The released funds would help complete the project, which has faced delays for some time now. The Karak road project would link the Karak city with the Indus Highway at Jail Chowk.

Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel announced the release of funds while he chaired a meeting at the office of Deputy Commissioner Shah Rukh Ali Khan. Several heads of line departments also attended the meeting.
The MPA stated that delay in the project’s completion had caused difficulties for the people, but the released funds would now help in early completion. He then directed the heads of the departments concerned to ensure the completion of the ongoing road projects in the district, preventing any further delays.

On the issue of the shortage of drinking water in Karak city, MPA Kakakhel asked the Deputy Director of Public Health Engineering Department to cut off all illegal water connections using Zebi Dam as a source of water supply.
