PKR 50 million issued for development schemes, colleges

Faisalabad: Government of Punjab has issued funds worth PKR 50 million for 13 government colleges, and for the completion of development schemes, reported a news source. The funds have been issued under the third instalment.

Out of this fund, PKR 24.7 million will be utilised for construction of six new government colleges. These include:

• Government College for Boys, Pansera
• Government College for Women, Meeranwala Bangla
• Government College for Women 97-R-G
• Government College for Women 45-G-B Samundari
• Government College for Women Arkana Bangla

PKR 22.29 million will be spend on construction of classrooms, labs, halls and provision of basic facilities in the existing institutes. These include:

• Government College for Girls, Ghulam Muhammadabad
• Girls College, Saifabad
• Government Girls College, Peoples Colony
• Government Girls College, Samanabad
• Government College for Women, Gulshan Colony
• Government College for Women, Khurianwala
