Sukkur: Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a development package of PKR 446 billion to uplift the lives of people of Sindh, according to a news report shared in news media on April 16.
The PM announced the package whole addressing the Kamyab Jawan Programme in Sukkur as he pledged to completely transform the lives of the locals.
Addressing the people, Khan said that within a month, people will be able to notice the difference these funds bring. This development package is in addition to PKR 1,100 billion fund being utilised under the Karachi Package.

PM Khan also talked about how provided with No Objection Certificate, the federal government cannot develop Bundle Island. He highlighted that with Bundle Island developed, thousands of jobs will be created and the province can earn through tourism as well.
Prior to the meeting, a representative of Sindh Government announced that PKR 60 million have been given to Sindh, while massive funds for the development of Matiari have already been spent. This is in addition to funds given to 1.9 million people under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme which gave two installments of PKR 6,000 in one go.
