Islamabad: Advisor to the Prime Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babar Awan while answering questions in Senate, told the house that PKR 35 million has already been released for Khazeena Dam, Zimri, district Musakhel in Balochistan.
He was answering the questions of Senator Muhammad Azam Khan Musakhel. He further said PC-1 of PKR 300 million is also ready and PKR 276 million has been approved for the dam as well. He further clarified that initially PKR 50 million had been reserved for the project, but the allocation had been reduced by 30% by the Planning, Development & Reform Division in pursuance of the Prime Minister’s Office approval in April 2018.
