Multan: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Multan Muhammad Abdul Aamir Khattak on Tuesday announced that the authorities concerned had allotted PKR 30 million for the launch of two new double-decker bus facilities in the city, a news source reported. As per the DC, these vehicles will be used to take visitors on a tour of all the significant historical sites and monuments in Multan.

Khattak stated that the route planned for the tour would cover all historical monuments and mausoleums so that sightseers could witness the historical city in a single travel. The buses will also play special commentary to explain the significance of each monument. Terminals for the busses will be set up at Shah Shams Park, Chaman Zar-e-Askari, and Qasim Fort.

The DC added that fares for these busses would be much less than of the tour buses running in Lahore. Each bus will have the capacity to seat 60 passengers and all of the vehicles will come equipped with an air conditioned facility.
