Talking to delegates belonging to Shangla, the minister said that the provincial government would utilise all available resources in order to develop the district. He added that since the funds had been approved, the government would now be able to provide basic facilities to the people of the region. These would include road schemes, provision of clean drinking water, solarisation of mosques, and many others — all targeted at alleviating the sense of deprivation among the local population.
Minister Yousafzai assured the gathered delegates that the incumbent government planned on making Shangla a model district. He added that they would set up local committees to review the quality and progress of all development projects.
