Rawalpindi: In its Annual Development Programme 2019-20, the Government of Punjab has allocated funds worth PKR 20.63 billion for 19 social development projects in the city, reported a news source.
The funds will be spent on the development of roads, storm drains, graveyards, cattle markets, and the rehabilitation of historical buildings in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal.

As per the details shared by the news source, the funds allocation is as follows:
- PKR 200 million for rehabilitation of historical buildings, Rawalpindi
- PKR 200 million for setting up Shehr-e-Khamosha, Dhamial
- PKR 274 million for Shehr-e-Khamosha, Chakwal
- PKR 190.93 million for Model Cattle Market, Attock
- PKR 30 million for roads in Mangot and Kangrila, Rawalpindi
- PKR 20 million for construction of Qasim Base to Dhoke Noor Road, Dhamial
- PKR 20 million for a sewerage drain in Khatana
- PKR 40 million for storm drain, Mehrabad
- PKR 30 million for storm drain, Naseerabad
- PKR 20 million for road construction, Hazro
- PKR 18 million for road track in Tarya, Rawalpindi
- PKR 170 million for road projects in Chakwal, Talagang, Noorpur, Chuwa Saidan Shah, and Kallar Kahar
