Faisalabad: District Sugarcane Development Cess Committee has approved funds worth PKR 18.7 million for the construction of roads in area surrounding three sugar mills in the district, according to a news source. The approval was granted in meeting presided by Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani and attended by representatives of various sugar mills.
As per the details, out of PKR 18.7 million, PKR 4 million will be spent on construction of a road connecting Tandlianwala Chak 407 with Chinar Sugar Mill, PKR 5 million on developing a road to connect Tandlianwala with Token Post T-Chowk while PKR 9.7 million will be used for construction of roads in Chak 421 and Chak 423 in Tehsil Samundari.
