Hyderabad: After the launch of Pink People’s Bus Service in Karachi and Sukkur; the bus service has also been launched in Hyderabad offering modern travel facilities for women, a news source reported on February 19.

The bus service was inaugurated by MNA Shaghufta Jumani, Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister for Information Technology Tanzila Qambrani, and Sindh Transport Secretary Transport Abdul Haleem Shaikh at the SRTC Bus Terminal, Qasimabad. The MNA Shaghufta opined that the launch of Pink People’s Bus Service by the Sindh government is a huge achievement.
As per the details, two pink buses will operate from Hyder Chowk to Hatri Bypass and women going to colleges, offices, and schools can use this bus service. it was mentioned that special seats have been arranged for differently-abled women. The bus fare for the Pink People’s Bus Service will be PKR 50.

Transport Secretary Abdul Halim Sheikh shared that more routes will be introduced soon, for which planning is being done. He revealed that the bus will pass through Hyder Chowk, Gul Center, Wahdat Colony, Thandi Sarak, Hala Naka, Sindh Museum, Isra Hospital, Qasim Chowk, Central Jail, Pathan Colony, and will end Hatri Bypass.
