Lahore: The Government of Punjab is looking to launch a pilot project for cleanliness in six districts of the province, reported a news source. In this regard, the provincial government will collaborate with respective local government bodies of these districts.
Under the planned project, garbage from these districts will be cleared off on a daily basis and public involvement will also be ensured. Details on the project were shared by Punjab Local Government Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, while he chaired a high-level meeting the other day.
Khan instructed the Secretary Local Government to form and launch the first phase of a formal campaign in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, DG Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.
