In a statement issued by the department explaining the reason for the new access route, it was informed that the institute needs continuous access to its premises for uninterrupted operations. However, the department’s entry is closed during major sports events at Nishtar Complex, which hinders processes. The new route will provide continuous access to the PILAC staff, who will keep the operations running smoothly. According to Project Concept (PC-1), the Communication and Works (C&W) Department will be in charge of the project’s civil work, which includes the building of the boundary wall, gates, security room/reception with air conditioning, and the development of the parking area.
