Bahawalpur: The Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) has invited expression of interest (EOIs) from entrepreneurs and industrialists to acquire land in the Bahawalpur Industrial Estate, according to a PIEDMC advertisement published in a newspaper. The industrial zone is expected to generate 200,000 employment opportunities.
The interested parties can download Expression of Interest (EoI) applications from the PIEDMC website and send the duly filled applications to the head office in Lahore by or up to April 20.

State of the art international standard industrial infrastructure
Safe and secure gated community
Uninterrupted supply of natural gas, electricity and water
As per the advertisement, the industrial estate will have dedicated sectors for specialised industrial units that include textile, food processing, shoes, agriculture, lite engineering, oil mills, handicrafts, artificial jewellery, warehouses, and plastic industry ginning mills.
The advertisement also stated that this advertisement is only an expression of interest with no legal or financial ramifications for either the applicant or PIEDMC.
