Lahore: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has launched a mobile application for flight reservations in partnership with a Turkish IT company, a news source reported. A ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of a yearlong partnership that involved an airline ticketing and reservation system.

Addressing the ceremony, PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik said that the support of the Turkish company Hitit has helped increase PIA’s revenue generation.
Talking about the new app, the CEO said that customers would now enjoy better convenience when making reservations thorough their mobile phones.
Congratulating the Hitit officials on completing one year of partnership with the PIA, he added that this was a step forward in developing business and friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
Hitit CEO Madam Nur Gokman stated that this partnership had been an accomplishment and would go a long way in bringing success to both companies.

At the end of the ceremony, PIA General Manager IT Asad Bukhari and Hitit Manger Emini Ordu received shields for their contributions to the implementation of the new reservations system for PIA.
