Lahore: The Punjab Housing and Town Planning Authority (PHATA) has revoked the forms that it shared on its official website — regarding the registration for phase III of the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), according to a press release. They have cancelled the forms for various locations across the country, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Layyah, Joharabad (Khushab), Liaqatabad, Pattoki and Hazro.

The official website of PHATA (www.phata.punjab.gov.pk) uploaded forms containing details on the terms and conditions for the programme on Monday (Nov 25). These contained respective payment plan details for each of the aforementioned cities, with slight variations in the terms and conditions set for each of them.
Yesterday, Zameen.com covered the information regarding the terms and conditions and payment plan details for NPHP projects in Rawalpindi and Lahore. However, due to this new notice shared via press release by the relevant authorities, the information shared earlier now stands null and void.

As per the press release, PHATA is yet to finalise mortgage financing details with the House Building Finance Company Ltd. and other commercial banks. The decision to upload the forms before finalizing these details has been termed a technical error by the authority. PHATA will release the final forms and publically share all the details once mortgage financing matters have been resolved.

Zameen.com’ source has revealed that the payment plans shared in the forms for several cities might remain the same, except for a few select house and apartment projects that are to be developed under NPHP.
