According to details, PTDC recently shut several of its properties due to financial losses in the wake of the coronavirus situation in the country. PHA Chairman Zubair Bajwa said that leasing these closed PTDC properties to private investors would also boost employment opportunities within the hospitality industry. He highlighted that the private sector could support the government in reviving the closed hotels and motels.
Bajwa opined that private investors could transform the PTDC motels into venues meeting international standards. He added that this would also help boost tourism in Pakistan.
