Rawalpindi: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has planned to raise funds for the development of 12 parks by starting commercial activities there, according to a news source.
The PHA has sought quotations from contractors and has started erecting hoardings in the parks, with a plan to put these boards to auction for advertisement.
The news source stated further that the PHA has 46 parks under its control, out which 30 parks are developed while the rest are still undeveloped grounds to be turned into parks soon.
